Basketball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Ray's Winning Streak

Ray lost against Bagdad on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bearcats fell 71-58 to the Sultans. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), the Bearcats still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Ray still got an impressive performance from Seth Wade, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards. Wade has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Logan Rice was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 14 boards.

The loss snapped Ray's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-2 record. As for Bagdad, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Ray wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-45 defeat against Williams on the 9th. As for Bagdad, they have also already played their next contest, a 54-42 loss against Northland Prep Academy on the 6th.
