Football Game Preview: East Rankin Academy Patriots vs. French Camp Academy Panthers

The East Rankin Academy Patriots will face off against the French Camp Academy Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

East Rankin Academy is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Heritage Academy on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. East Rankin Academy wound up with the same score they had in their last game (42-14), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-0.

Although East Rankin Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Brandon Loper and Aiden Carlisle.

Meanwhile, French Camp Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost to West Memphis Christian on the road by a 28-14 margin.

Even if they lost, French Camp Academy's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Hayden Scott, Sam McCoy, and Hunter Buntyn, who each picked up one sack apiece.

East Rankin Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for French Camp Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
