Volleyball Recap: Sterling Beats Cinnaminson for Their Third Straight Win

Sterling had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cinnaminson Pirates. The Silver Knights were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Pirates, so the Silver Knights were just returning the favor.

Sterling never let Cinnaminson on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22.

Will Stubbs - Class Of 2026 paced Sterling's offense, picking up 11 kills. Stubbs - Class Of 2026 got some help from Davis Holloway and his 19 assists. Stubbs - Class Of 2026 was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Sterling now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Cinnaminson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Sterling will venture away from home to take on Rancocas Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cinnaminson, they will welcome Pennsauken at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
