Clay Center had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Riley County Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

Raimee Lipker paced Clay Center's offense, picking up 13 kills. Lipker got some help from Raicee Lipker and her 35 assists. Molly McGee controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Clay Center's win bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Riley County, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-11.

Clay Center didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Concordia on the 4th. As for Riley County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Nemaha Central on the 4th.
