Velma Jackson comes up short despite J'Ashton Williams' dominant performance

Recap: Velma Jackson Falcons vs. Pascagoula Panthers
The Velma Jackson Falcons were the 45-24 winner over the Pascagoula Panthers when they last played one another back in December of 2014, but their luck changed this time around. Velma Jackson had to suffer through a rough 68-23 loss at the hands of Pascagoula. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Velma Jackson has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Velma Jackson still got an impressive performance from J'Ashton Williams, who scored ten points.
Velma Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Pascagoula, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 12-1.
Velma Jackson won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Pearl at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th. Pearl will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. Pascagoula will take on Meridian at 9:42 a.m. on January 6, 2024.
