 In what's become a running theme this season, Navajo Prep gave their fans yet another huge  win in Friday's  second game. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Northwest Falcons  a   16-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Navajo Prep sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
  Antonio Nez was a standout: he went 3-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  stolen base.  Jacob Arviso was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Navajo Prep's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-9. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.5 runs per game. As for Northwest, they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-8.
 Navajo Prep will head out on the road to  challenge  Tohatchi at 3:00  p.m.  in Tuesday's  first game. Tohatchi is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.8  runs per game  this season. As for Northwest, they will be playing at home against Red Mesa at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
