Football Recap: Rickards Takes a Loss

Rickards was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Chiles Timberwolves and fell 33-0. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Timberwolves from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Chiles found their leader in freshman Kendall Sadberry, who threw for 115 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 60 yards and one touchdown. Charlotte Reynolds was in the mix too, providing Chiles with three touchdowns.

Rickards' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Chiles, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Rickards will head out on the road to challenge Taylor County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chiles, they will face off against Tampa Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
