Football Recap: Mcqueen Piles Up the Points Against Union Mine + How To Watch

McQueen's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They claimed a resounding 38-11 win over the Union Mine Diamondbacks. The Lancers pushed the score to 32-3 by the end of the third, a deficit the Diamondbacks cut but never quite recovered from.

Nason Rodriguez had a dynamite game, rushing for 197 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryder Tucker, who threw for 101 yards and a pair of TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: McQueen was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 297 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August of 2024.

The victory got McQueen back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McQueen is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Foothill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Union Mine, they will head out to take on Wheatland at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
