Buchanan waltzed into their contest on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the San Luis Obispo Tigers 71-33. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Tigers are ranked 477th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Buchanan's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for San Luis Obispo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Buchanan will be taking part in a tournament against Legacy Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for San Luis Obispo, they will take on Monterey in a tournament on Thursday.
