Game recap: Strong fourth quarter leads Douglass past Fairmont Heights

Douglass (Upper Marlboro, Md.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring 14 in the fourth quarter to seal a 30-0 victory over Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, Md.).

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Aaron Johnson in the first quarter, the Eagles led 16-0 at the half.

Matthew Paul was the top performer for Douglass. The senior quarterback ran for one touchdown.

A 36-0 Douglass victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.



The loss comes after Fairmont Heights defeated Central 28-20 last week.

In a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A game next week Fairmont Heights (1-4) takes on Largo, and Douglass (4-1) will go up against Crossland also in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A game.
