Basketball Recap: Pope John XXIII Takes a Loss

Pope John XXIII lost against Mount Olive on January 8th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Pope John XXIII fell 59-51 to the Mount Olive Marauders. Pope John XXIII has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pope John XXIII's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Mount Olive, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-10.

Pope John XXIII will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Montville at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th. As for Mount Olive, they will be playing at home against Passaic Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
