Basketball Game Preview: Tattnall Square Academy Trojans vs. St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings

The Tattnall Square Academy Trojans will face off against the St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tattnall Square Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 26 contests -- so hopefully St. Anne-Pacelli likes a good challenge.

Tattnall Square Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 66-64 victory over Stratford Academy. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, St. Anne-Pacelli put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Tallulah Falls 80-55. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 24 points or more this season.

St. Anne-Pacelli's victory bumped their record up to 26-0. As for Tattnall Square Academy, their win bumped their record up to 22-4.

Tattnall Square Academy barely slipped by St. Anne-Pacelli in their previous meeting back in December of 2015, winning 59-58. Does Tattnall Square Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will St. Anne-Pacelli turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
