Flag Football Recap: Rich Township Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rich Township's offense. They were outmatched by the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers and fell 32-0. While losing is never fun, the Raptors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois flag football rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Boilermakers are ranked 14th).

A big part of Bradley-Bourbonnais' victory came down to the chemistry between Elise Munsterman and her top target Sophia Darling. Munsterman threw for 239 yards and four TDs while completing 72% of her passes while Darling gained 89 total yards and three touchdowns. Munsterman has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times she's played.

Rich Township's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Rich Township has already played their next game, a 34-8 defeat against Kankakee on the 3rd. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-14 victory against Stagg on the 2nd.
