Volleyball Recap: Stephenson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Stephenson came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans. The Jaguars have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

While Stephenson was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14, 25-23.

Rita Taylor was nothing short of spectacular for Greater Atlanta Christian: she had 12 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Taylor has posted over her last eight matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Kwasigroch, who had six digs and two aces.

Stephenson's defeat dropped their record down to 24-6. As for Greater Atlanta Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 21 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 24-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Stephenson nor Greater Atlanta Christian have any future games scheduled.
