Basketball Recap: Frostproof Piles Up the Points Against Lake Placid + How To Watch

Frostproof barely beat Lake Placid the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Dragons 65-34. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-12.

Frostproof was led to victory by Mekhi Guillaume and Aj Young. Guillaume went 9-for-16 en route to 27 points, while Young posted 12 points along with seven boards and four steals. The game was Guillaume's sixth in a row with at least 15 points. Kyrie Emillian was another key player, putting up eight points.

Frostproof's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 67.7 points this season. As for Lake Placid, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Frostproof will venture away from home to square off against McLaughlin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Placid, they will host Hardee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
