Volleyball Recap: Fitchburg Comes Up Short

Fitchburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Middlesex Regional Patriots. The Red Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Fitchburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for North Middlesex Regional, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Fitchburg will challenge Marlborough at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Middlesex Regional, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against South Lancaster Academy at 5:15 p.m.
