Soccer Recap: Dougherty Takes a Loss

Dougherty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Cairo Syrupmakers. That's two games in a row now that Dougherty have lost by exactly ten goals.

Dougherty's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Cairo, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Dougherty will host Bainbridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cairo, they will face off against LaGrange at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cairo will be up against LaGrange's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.93 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
