Volleyball Recap: Brownell Talbot Raiders vs. Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays
If Brownell Talbot was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Boys Town on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders lost 3-0 to the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2018.
Quinn Iverson paced Brownell Talbot's offense, picking up ten kills. Iverson got some help from Becky Hoban and her 14 assists.
Ashland-Greenwood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Averi Bridges led the charge by getting 12 digs and eight aces.
