Stony Point came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Hutto Hippos. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-0 last Saturday.

Stony Point's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-11-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Hutto, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.
