Baseball Recap: Little Axe Takes a Loss

Little Axe fell victim to Lindsay and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 14-0 to the Leopards. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Leopards from their previous meeting back in April of 2016.

Little Axe saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Stroud Tucker, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Little Axe and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Lindsay, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-5.

While Little Axe had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
