Recap: Whitehaven Tigers vs. White Station Spartans

The Whitehaven Tigers can now show off 15 landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They blew past White Station 71-28 at home. The victory was nothing new for Whitehaven as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Tierney Kelsey was her usual excellent self, scoring 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Hampton, who scored 13 points along with seven steals.

Despite the loss, White Station saw an underclassman step up: Zamiya Riley scored ten points.

Whitehaven pushed their record up to 21-5 with that victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. As for White Station, their loss dropped their record down to 16-16.

Whitehaven does not have any more games scheduled as of now. White Station is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Memphis Central at 6:00 p.m. on February 20th. Memphis Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
