Football Game Preview: Chrisman Bears vs. Fort Osage Indians

Chrisman hasn't had much luck against Fort Osage recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bears will challenge the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Chrisman turned things around against Raytown on Friday. They blew past the Bluejays 40-16. The Bears not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 27, 2024 (when they won 34-7).

Meanwhile, Fort Osage earned a 41-34 victory over Grain Valley on Friday.

Fort Osage's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Chrisman, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Chrisman was dealt a bruising 59-6 defeat at the hands of Fort Osage when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Bears, Ryver Peppers (who rushed for 241 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.7 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
