Volleyball Recap: Halifax County Comes Up Short at Home Against Dan River + How To Watch

Halifax County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Dan River Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Halifax County actually scored more points across those five sets (100-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-21, 15-25, 17-25, 15-5.

Halifax County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Heritage on the 26th. As for Dan River, they are taking a road trip to square off against George Washington at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd.
