Baseball Recap: South Walton Now 15-1 over Last 16 Games

South Walton never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the West Florida Jaguars as they made off with a 10-0 victory. The Seahawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matches by six runs or more this season.

Coleman Borthwick was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Willcox, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI.

South Walton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .474. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .407 or higher in four consecutive contests.

South Walton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for West Florida, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 22-4.

As of now, neither South Walton nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
