Softball Recap: Wilson Christian Academy Triumphs

Wilson Christian Academy extended their postseason success on Friday against Union Grove Christian. They had just enough and edged out the Patriots 5-4. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Stevie Cressionnie spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 15 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Allie Miller was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Wilson Christian Academy's record is now 13-3. As for Union Grove Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 13-5.
