Basketball Preview: Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts vs. Rogers City Hurons
Mio-Au Sable has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Rogers City Hurons at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Mio-Au Sable will be strutting in after a victory while the Hurons will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Thursday, Mio-Au Sable didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Patriots, but they still walked away with a 54-49 win.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought match, but Rogers City had to settle for a 40-37 loss against the Tigers on Friday. Rogers City has struggled against the Tigers recently, as their match on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Mio-Au Sable now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Rogers City, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
Mio-Au Sable strolled past the Hurons in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a score of 36-22. Will Mio-Au Sable repeat their success, or do the Hurons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
