Volleyball Recap: Dieterich Takes a Loss

Dieterich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Anthony Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Movin Maroons of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16.

Dieterich's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for St. Anthony, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dieterich will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oblong at 6:15 p.m. on the 21st. As for St. Anthony, they will challenge Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
