Basketball Recap: Bremen Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Central Noble came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Bremen, but Eliana Grubbs wouldn't allow it. The Bremen Lions strolled past the Central Noble Cougars with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 62-48 thanks in part to Grubbs, who almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine boards. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played.

The win (which was Bremen's fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.5 points. As for Central Noble, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-6.

Bremen will face off against Glenn at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bremen is on a nine-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Glenn a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Central Noble, they will take on Garrett at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
