Baseball Recap: Harriton Falls to Upper Merion Area in First Game of Season

Harriton had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 6-3 to the Upper Merion Area Vikings on Monday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Harriton saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Swalley, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Looking ahead, Harriton will be playing in front of their home fans against Great Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Upper Merion Area, they are taking a road trip to challenge Archbishop Carroll at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
