Basketball Game Preview: Heard County Braves vs. Southwest Atlanta Christian Warriors

The Heard County Braves just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Southwest Atlanta Christian Warriors at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Heard County has three straight wins, Southwest Atlanta Christian has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Friday, Heard County got the win against Haralson County by a conclusive 69-46.

Meanwhile, Southwest Atlanta Christian came up short against McNair on Friday and fell 82-73. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (67), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Heard County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for Southwest Atlanta Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Heard County came up short against Southwest Atlanta Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2021, falling 76-69. Can Heard County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
