Basketball Recap: Chandler Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Chandler couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Sequoyah Eagles by a score of 59-56 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Lions have suffered since January 18, 2024.

With the loss, Chandler broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 23-4. As for Sequoyah, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-2 record this season.

Chandler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sequoyah, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 92-44 defeat against Millwood on the 14th.
