Volleyball Recap: Founders Classical Academy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Founders Classical Academy waltzed into their match on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on Varsity Opponent with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Thursday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Founders Classical Academy was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-5, 25-13.

Pahel Batraa was the offensive standout of the game as she had eight aces. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high. Annie LiBassi also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Founders Classical Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 30 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Founders Classical Academy's record is now 6-3.

Varsity Opponent has already played their next contest (against Kennedy Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Founders Classical Academy will be paying especially close attention to Varsity Opponent's match: after Varsity Opponent face off against Fort Scott Christian Heights, they'll take on Founders Classical Academy again at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
