Recap: Chicago Marshall Commandos vs. Foreman Hornets
The Chicago Marshall Commandos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season. They really took it to Foreman for the full four quarters, racking up a 52-22 victory on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Chicago Marshall who now have nine in a row.
Chicago Marshall's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alysha Murphy led the charge by scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ja'Una Williams, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Chicago Marshall's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Foreman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.
Chicago Marshall will head out on the road to face off against Dyett at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Foreman will be home for the holidays to greet Steinmetz College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Steinmetz College Prep is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
