Idalia was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Weldon Valley only seven assists.

Ellie Koch and Haylee Nelson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Koch scored five points in addition to eight rebounds and eight blocks, while Nelson earned six points and seven boards. Those eight blocks gave Koch a new career-high.

Idalia's record now sits at 20-4. As for Weldon Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-14.
