Idalia had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Weldon Valley Warriors, posting a 50-21 win. Winning may never get old, but the Wolves sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

Idalia got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Krista Wieser out in front who posted 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. Wieser has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Ailyn Monarrez-Estrada was another key player, putting up nine points along with eight boards and seven steals.

Idalia was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Weldon Valley only seven assists.

Ellie Koch and Haylee Nelson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Koch scored five points in addition to eight rebounds and eight blocks, while Nelson earned six points and seven boards. Those eight blocks gave Koch a new career-high.

Idalia's record now sits at 20-4. As for Weldon Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-14.

Idalia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-23 win against Prairie on the 8th. Weldon Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
