Jaxson Smith put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Smith's strong effort led Clinton over Fairmont and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
