Flag Football Recap: Jackson County Starts off Right with Win over East Forsyth

Jackson County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the East Forsyth Broncos a 25-0 shutout.

Aubree Dobbs looked great while leading her team to the win, throwing for 73 yards and four touchdowns. That's the most passing touchdowns she has posted since back in October of 2024. Aliyah Haney was another key player, picking up 40 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

East Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson County will challenge Grayson at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for East Forsyth, they will be playing at home against East Jackson at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
