Wallace waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Genesis Prep Academy Jaguars 31-29. This was a revenge game for the Miners: when they faced off against the Jaguars back in December of 2024, they had to take a 38-37 defeat.

Wallace now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Genesis Prep Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wallace will square off against Lakeside at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Genesis Prep Academy, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Genesis Prep Academy Jaguars challenge the Kellogg Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
