Soccer Recap: Tonopah Valley Comes Up Short

Tonopah Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Glendale Prep Academy Griffins, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that the Phoenix have lost by exactly eight goals.

Tonopah Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Glendale Prep Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Tonopah Valley will face off against Kingman at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glendale Prep Academy, they will challenge Mountainside at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glendale Prep Academy is facing Mountainside at the right time seeing as Mountainside is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
