Basketball Recap: Southeast Raleigh Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

Southeast Raleigh won the last time they faced Enloe and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs came out on top against the Enloe Eagles by a score of 50-38. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Eagles are ranked 410th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Enloe lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Malone Bridgers, who posted two points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Bridgers a new career-high in boards. John Brown was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

Southeast Raleigh's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Enloe, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeast Raleigh will challenge Garner at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Garner has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 211 points over their last three matches. As for Enloe, they will face off against Athens Drive at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
