Baseball Game Preview: Era Hornets vs. Muenster Hornets

For the second straight game, Era will face off against Muenster. We've got a battle between Hornets coming up. Era's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Muenster's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Era had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Muenster put an end to it on Tuesday. Era took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Muenster. It was the first time this season that Era let down their fans at home.

Era saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Barnes, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another was Cole Stevens, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Muenster has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. Era now has a losing record of 3-4-3.
