Basketball Game Preview: Rolla Bulldogs vs. Sullivan Eagles

The Rolla Bulldogs will head out to take on the Sullivan Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Rolla has four straight victories, Sullivan has nine straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Rolla strolled past Camdenton with points to spare, taking the game 71-54. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Lakers are ranked 131st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Sullivan lost 63-43 to DeSoto on Thursday.

Rolla has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Sullivan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything came up roses for Rolla against Sullivan when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 59-28 win. Does Rolla have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sullivan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
