Florence won against Ellison last Tuesday with 19 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Florence Buffaloes blew past the Cedar Creek Eagles 19-3. This was payback for the Buffaloes, who suffered a 19-14 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Florence and bumps their season record up to 3-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 17.5 runs. As for Cedar Creek, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Coming up, Florence will square off against Brady at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cedar Creek, they will take on Navarro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Creek has given up an average of 13.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
