Baseball Recap: Hinkley Takes a Loss

Hinkley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Prospect Ridge Academy Miners.

Hinkley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Victor Quijada, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Hinkley's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-8.

Hinkley has already played their next matchup, a 20-16 defeat against DSST: Montview on the 13th. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 17-7 victory against Kent Denver on the 12th.
