Basketball Recap: Lawrence County Has No Trouble Against Purvis

Lawrence County won the last time they faced Purvis and things went their way on Friday too. The Lawrence County Cougars blew past the Purvis Tornadoes 59-33. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Cougars have posted against the Tornadoes since February 5, 2019.

The victory made it two in a row for Lawrence County and bumps their season record up to 11-5. As for Purvis, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
