Volleyball Recap: Farmington Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Farmington, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. Everything went their way against the Fremont Silverwolves on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Phoenix in their matchups with the Silverwolves: they've now won three in a row.

Farmington not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Fremont between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 25-18.

Tucker Blackham paced Farmington's offense, picking up 12 kills. Blackham got some help from Tavin Fulton and his 29 assists. Blackham also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Yuvraj Multani, racking up two apiece.

Farmington's record is now 7-4. As for Fremont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Farmington will challenge rival Weber at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Fremont is set to square off against their familiar foe Davis at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
