Starting off the list is Columbia's Logan Hicks, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Hicks rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also picked up 53 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Kaden Rakers was instrumental in extending Breese Central's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Rakers as he rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, and also threw for 41 yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2023.

Rakers might have his next game, a road matchup with Columbia, circled on his calendar. Rakers rushed for 175 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 62 receiving yards the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.
