Baseball Recap: Everett Comes Up Short

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Monday as neither Everett nor Stanwood made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Seagulls took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The Seagulls just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Everett's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Stanwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Coming up, Stanwood will welcome Mountlake Terrace at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Everett will be paying especially close attention to the Spartans' matchup: after the Spartans face off against the Hawks, they'll take on Everett again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
