Volleyball Game Preview: Mountain View Academy Mustangs vs. East Palo Alto Academy Bulldogs

The Mountain View Academy Mustangs will challenge the East Palo Alto Academy Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Mountain View Academy came up short against Summit Shasta on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Black Bears: they've now lost five in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-7, 25-12.

Meanwhile, East Palo Alto Academy came up short against Crystal Springs Uplands last Tuesday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 16-25, 25-16.

East Palo Alto Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Mountain View Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Mountain View Academy beat East Palo Alto Academy 3-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
