A-8 North - I-25 (8 Man) recap Oct. 9, 2012

Belleview Christian made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,100 from 1,234. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 54-18 victory over Justice last week.

The Bruins led A-8 North - I-25 (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on the Phoenix. Jared Brown ran for 340 yards in the win.

Belleview Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bruins feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jameson Iiams has thrown for 738 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Jerrod Moore has 21 catches for 333 yards. Brown leads the league in rushing with 978 yards.

Belleview Christian's Brown is a mere 22 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Todd Daniels' team takes on the Warriors. At the moment, the Bruins are in third, while Longmont Christian is in first.

There should be lots of points scored when Belleview Christian and Jerry Martin's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Bruins comes in having scored 192 this season, while the Warriors have scored 123. Belleview Christian scored 54 points last week as it beat Justice.
