It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Tooele ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Murray Spartans 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Buffaloes have posted since March 11th.

Kenni Molgard spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered seven earned runs on 12 hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Dakota-Sky Gallaher was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Olivia Nelson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.
